When did Anime Shop Simulator come out?
September 11, 2026, on Steam for Windows. It launched as a full 1.0 release, not Early Access.
Is the Anime Shop Simulator demo still available?
The free demo ran from February 19, 2026 and was last updated to v1.5.0 on May 26. The store page no longer lists a demo now that the full game is out, and a Steam forum thread titled "No demo?" asked the same question in launch week.
Can I move my playtest save into the full game?
A community guide on Steam (written in Russian) walks through copying the playtest save folder from AppData\LocalLow into the full game's folder. It is not an official feature, so back up both folders first. The save file page has the exact paths.
Is Anime Shop Simulator still getting updates?
Yes. Two hotfixes shipped in the first three days (1.0.2 on Sep 12 and 1.0.3 on Sep 13), and the 1.0.3 notes say the next patch is already in the works. No roadmap with dates has been published.
